Bear OPS, a professional-grade brand of knives produced by Bear & Son Cutlery, introduces the BEAR TAC III, a new fixed-blade knife designed specifically for military and special operations teams.
This full-tang fighting knife is built to be as tough, reliable, and sharp as our modern war fighters who wield them. The 4.8-inch cutting edge of the BEAR TAC III is forged from D2 steel—recognized for its strength and molecular composition for maximum edge retention—and finished with a black anti-glare coating. The knife’s tip is reinforced for added strength and can be used for the odd prying tasks commonly required in the field.
The Bear OPS BEAR TAC III confidently sits in the hand with its black stainless bolsters and black G10 handles. The grip has an ergonomic design with a straight and narrow shape for minimal weight and reduced snag points.
The new 10-inch tactical fixed blade comes standard with a sheath boasting flexible carry options. The ballistic sheath includes a Kydex insert to protect the edge and it easily mounts to duty belts, pant belts, packs, and MOLLE compatible gear. The sheath can also be mounted horizontally for added comfort.
BEAR OPS 2 1/2″ AUTO BOLD ACTION® XIV, BLACK, AC-1400-ALBK-B
The Bear Ops AC-1400 is part of the Auto Bold Action® XIV series. The Hollow Ground 1 1/2″ blade edge is made with Sandvik 14C28N Premium Steel with a Black Finish allowing for a tough blade with great edge retention. The blade quickly opens with a press of the raised button with a safety lock switch just below. Although it is an automatic, the small blade size makes it legal to carry in the State of California. The Stainless Steel 2 1/2″ handle features a pocket clip for tip up carry. The Bear Ops AC-1400 has an overall length of 4 1/4″ and weighs 1.3 ounces. Bold Action® XIV is proudly made in the USA.
